Do you remember that afternoon, it was pouring rain, just at the end of summer. Steam was spilling up from the hot streets and the grass was saturated with rain water. We decided to dedicate the afternoon to cleaning the kitchen out, and I as washed the dishes you decided to make us lunch so we put on that old Jazz CD.

Occasionally, the kitchen be cramped and so, we would nudge into one another until before you knew it we were dancing in eachothers arms to Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Houston Pearson. Twirling around and laughing into eachothers eyes, and quickly, before we drew anymore attention to the kitchen, you would sneak a quick kiss on the lips before returning to the stove.
